Laxton recently exhibited at the 16th International Electoral Symposium held in Tróia (Lisbon), Portugal, from the 28th to 31st May 2018. The event was hosted by the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS) in partnership with The National Electoral Commission of Portugal (CNE).
The symposium brought together representatives from the democratic elections community and election management bodies from around the world to share best practice initiatives, assess new technologies and tools and develop innovative strategies that they can then put into practice in their respective countries and regions.
Laxton’s range of end-to-end Election Solutions were on display and it was a privilege to have so many visitors representing numerous Election Management Boards to the stand. The solutions on show included our unique Rugged Biometric Registration Kit, Rugged Multi-Modal 5″ and 8″ Biometric Hand-Held Devices, and Rugged 442 Fingerprint Reader. Laxton’s new desktop E-Voting was also on display.
