Laxton formally launched the ChameleonD at SDW-IDENTITY WEEK 2019 in London from 11-13 June. The Chameleon D is an addition to the Chameleon Biometrics family of products in the form factor of an integrated, multi-modal biometric desktop device.

Laxton had the opportunity to showcase the complete range of Chameleon multi-modal biometric devices, including those aligned to the European EES (European Entry Exit System), specifically the Chameleon 8 Slap, which was designed for mobile passport/ID biometric verification.

The SDW-IDENTITY WEEK conference and exhibition has set the benchmark for the government identity industry. Attracting a highly qualified audience from almost 80 countries – including government delegations from more than 30 countries. The event provided a truly global showcase for technology innovators, industry disruptors, and solution providers.

Laxton was confident that this would be the ideal stage to launch the Chameleon D and showcase the full Chameleon Range. We were not disappointed as the show proved to have a large volume of high calibre delegates from the government and private sector. The reaction to the Chameleon D and the full range of Chameleon devices was fantastic. Such a positive response only fuels our passion for innovation and delivering new quality products. We now look forward to building on new relationships, and further entrenching our position in the market as  a global leader in providing cost effective, high technology Election, Identity and Self Service solutions to governments and corporations.
