Laxton’s voter verification devices can be deployed to verify the identity of eligible voters against the voters roll prior to voting on Election Day. This reduces the risk of identify fraud, and voters roll manipulation.

The use of these devices also allows polling station staff and officials to assist registered voters to determine their correct polling station location should they arrive at the wrong polling station on Election Day.

Voter verification devices are similar in size to a smartphone and can operate for 24 hours without recharge. A minimum of two devices per polling station is recommended in order to allow for redundancy, and to prevent bottle necks during peak periods.
