Laxton exhibited at the 5th Border Management & Identity Conference (5th BMIC) in Bangkok, Thailand from 11-13 December 2018. The event was an excellent platform for Laxton to showcase the new Chameleon range of rugged multi-modal biometric products in the Asia Pacific region.
The event was organised by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and APSCA and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. BMIC is the largest gathering of National Government Authorities including Immigration, Identity, Border Control, Civil Registration, Customs, population management and other agencies with responsibilities in the area of Border and Identity Management in Asia. The objective of the 5th BMIC is to improve border and identity management in the APAC region through closer consultation and cooperation between national authorities responsible for border control, national identity and their key international partner organisations.
The Chameleon products and Laxton’s solutions for biometric identity registration and verification for border control management, immigration, and law enforcement were demonstrated to all who visited the stand. The opportunity to meet so many people from government, international development agencies and industry players was fantastic, and the feedback was great.
Visit the Chameleon website for more information on these unique multi-modal biometric products.
