Laxton Group Limited, a multi-national specialist in the manufacture of self-service kiosks, rugged IP67 kits and handheld devices, has successfully supplied over 100 self-service kiosks (eHosts) to the 14 casinos of Tsogo Sun, Southern Africa’s premier gaming, hotel and entertainment group, through its subsidiary Laxton Technologies SA.

The Tsogo Sun’s eHost kiosks enable their Reward program members to enter  promotions more easily than ever before. With a simple visit to the  eHost kiosk the customer can enter Tsogo Sun’s promotional  draws electronically and get a single, consolidated receipt for draw entries. The new eHosts are now widely used across the Tsogo Sun casinos and have proved to be both reliable and easy to use. The Laxton Groups team created a design  that is aesthetically pleasing and matches the vibrant and energetic  feel of  our Casinos.” says Manesh Moodley, General Manager IT, at Tsogo Sun.

Given the immense user traffic that these units endure, the Tsogo Sun IT team put the kiosk through rigorous testing and worked closely with the Laxton Group’s engineers to ensure that the new eHosts kiosks fulfill all  requirements. “The eHost uptime is key for our customers. Therefore only Laxton tested and accredited components are integrated into our products. We manufacture robust machines that work extremely hard in our customer environments,” says Nadia Laxton-Reid, Sales Director of Laxton Technologies SA.
